The first bell goes at 8:40am to signal that the academy is open. Pupils enter via their cloakrooms and into class for registration.

Academy doors are opened at 08:40 and closed at 08:45 when the registers are taken. We ask that children should not arrive on the academy premises before 08:40 (or 13:00 if they go home to lunch) as we cannot guarantee adequate supervision before these times.
Pupils arriving after 08:45 but before 09:00 are recorded as late (authorised absence). Pupils arriving after 09:00 are recorded as late (unauthorised absence). Pupils arriving after the doors have closed should report to the academy office.
Children are not allowed to leave the academy during the day unless they are collected by a parent or nominated adult. We encourage parents, when planning visits to the doctor or dentist, to try and book outside of the academy day or term time. If you do need to take your child out during the day, please let us know in advance.
